Yes. Sometimes.

There are currently a few things I do. First, I've been going to a Danzan-Ryu (Ryu=Style) Jujitsu dojo, the Kodenkan. Jujitsu is one of the oldest martial arts from which many are based. The particular dojo I am at practices martial arts for self-defense only, no contests. We practice what is known as "street jujitsu", or techniques designed to disable or control an attacker to the point where they are no longer a threat. The ultimate goal of martial arts, though, is not defense but character improvement.

I've also been weight lifting for over eight years now. There are two main reasons to lift weights in my case: one, muscles look cool!, and two, the health gains are really great. The body is really an adaptive organism, and if you don't stress it at all, it will adapt to that, i.e. go bad with disuse. For this reason, it's important both to train both your muscles and your cardio-vascular system. Many people go to the gym and just waste their time. It's very important to get quality instruction either online or in person. A great resource online is Griffins Weightlifting Page.

Ah.. Finally, something I can talk about.. I listen to a lot of music.. Some of my favorite bands (in no particular order):
